Flat monocrystalline solar panels are the ideal solution for sloping roofs, and can also be installed on flat roofs. Greatest efficiency is achieved when panels are mounted at the appropriate angle for your latitude and facing north. Inverters
The inverter converts the DC electricity produced by the solar panels to AC electricity suitable for use by most appliances, or supply to the grid. The choice of inverter will be determined by the initial size of your system, and any plans to increase the number of panels in the future.
To gain the benefit of feed-in tariffs and to measure the amount of electricity exported to the grid a bi-directional, digital electricity meter is required. Changeover of the electricity meter will be arranged with your supplier. Costs vary, and will be charged by the supplier.
